Circa, 1910

Over a century ago the father of technical analysis, Richard D. Wyckoff identified market truth:  The decisions of every brokerage firm, each individual speculator, manipulator, every accounting firm (and now every central bank) is printed on the tape.

Proper reading and deciphering of the ‘tape’, which today is represented by time and sales, price-bar and volume, is the key to market success.

This website is dedicated to implementing the techniques described by Wyckoff in his seminal work Studies in Tape Reading and Method of Trading in Stocks (updated version of his draft 1931 manuscript).

Wyckoff is kept “close to the vest” by market professionals.  We see hints of his influence in statements by those professionals such as Linda Bradford-Raschke in this interview.
