They Sell … Wall Street Buys

The earnings release tells an interesting story, link here.
After all’s said-and-done, CRWD still has a negative P/E.
Analysists are optimistic, while the insiders sell millions-worth (not advice, not a recommendation).
A push above resistance (blue line), puts CRWD in Wyckoff Up-Thrust position.

Not a bad place to take profit. I hope this doesn’t come off as too antagonist, but I listened to a mark minervini interview where he said he looked at the research from bill o’neil and it states that there is no correlation between insider buying/selling and prices. I don’t know why. I would think an avalanche of insider sell orders would crush the price.
Video was titled “Current thoughts of trading legend mark minervini” on the making millions channel. Statement starts around the 15:10 mark.

Thanks for the input,
I skipped through the video and stopped dead at time stamp 25:55.
I’m not sure if your comment is a litmus test for me or if somehow, I offend, but I’m questioning the ‘No pulse with $10-Million’.
Give me a break. I guess we say ‘dude’ or ‘bruh’ these days … whatever. 🙂
First off, being a former Avionics System Integrator and Flight Test Engineer, you don’t spit out anything unless you can back it up. We call that (in the video) an ‘unsubstantiated’ comment. Meaning, let’s see the actual EKG where your pulse does not move an inch at a $10-million trade. I’ll wait.
For me, it does not matter if it’s $10 or $100,000 or more, the stress is the same no matter the size.
Robert Prechter said it himself. ‘Some of the best traders I know, are former Marines’. They have been trained how to be uncomfortable and withstand physical and mental adversity.
With that said, insider selling data for CRWD does not in itself indicate an imminent decline.
What it says and especially as the economic tide is going out, those who know their business best, are selling.
We also have in the background; this outfit let a defective software release get out there, costing its customers over $1-Billion in down time and lost revenue.
Now, with all of that said, for me to enter short, I’m looking for something very specific. I’m looking for a certain kind of price action behavior at, or above the resistance area noted.
An up-thrust (in this case) or a spring has a unique kind of movement when watching in real time. Sort of a ‘last gasp’ type of action.
So far, I’ve not seen that in CRWD.
Again,
I appreciate the comment (really) as it helps me explain more accurately or provide clarification on what this website is about.
Best regards,
Before I go, I just noticed that ‘comments are turned off’ on that YouTube video. That in itself, should tell you all you need to know.
