A.I. and A.I. ‘Adjacent’

What exactly, is that?

We’re probably way past extremes like the ‘sock-puppet‘ era of dot-com boom/bust.

Ed Dowd, in recent interviews has mentioned the concept of ‘A.I., and A.I., adjacent’, for the downside. (not advice, not a recommendation).

So, what is ‘A.I. adjacent’, exactly?

Loosely translated, ‘businesses or products used to support the A.I. hysteria.’

All of which, brings us to Entegris.

Attempted breakout (Up-Thrust) from late April to early May results in downward action.

Last Friday, price action tentatively pushed itself above resistance, again (Test).

With the A.I. narrative unravelling by the day if not the hour, one has to wonder, if this ‘breakout’ will hold (not advice, not a recommendation).

SOXX, Rally (attempt) Fails

Weak Gap-Close

If the current situation holds, the gap-close attempt in the SOXX, has failed (not advice, not a recommendation).

A short-lived upward spike in the morning session, was quickly reversed.

Anything can happen, the index could give it another try.

There seems to be an implosion coming but from which direction (first), is unknown.
