SOXX, Net (up) Slows

Wyckoff Concept

A Wyckoff tenet concerning directional moves, is ‘shortening of the thrust’.

As a move nears its end, net upward progress between thrusts, shortens.

On a closing basis, we see the SOXX launching ever higher but net progress after pullbacks, is getting shorter (not advice, not a recommendation).

Yesterday’s update on CrowdStrike, said that Fridays were typically biased to the upside.

Well, that’s what happened and a bit more than expected.

As shown, volume and Force Index contract as price action rises into the resistance area.

We’re now on to the weekend.

One has to wonder, what A.I. implosion will happen next.

CRWD, Penetrates Resistance

The last update on CRWD, was here.

Comments to posts in general, may provide more clarity.

From back March, we had this:

“Now, with all of that said, for me to enter short, I’m looking for something very specific. I’m looking for a certain kind of price action behavior at, or above the resistance area noted.

An up-thrust (in this case) or a spring has a unique kind of movement when watching in real time. Sort of a ‘last gasp’ type of action.

So far, I’ve not seen that in CRWD.”

Fast-forward to now.

Price action penetrated resistance on news, link here.

The important part, is what comes next.

As of today, we’re at 53-Days from the February 23rd lows; well within margin at this time scale for a ‘Day 55’ top (not advice, not a recommendation).

Fridays are typically biased to the upside. Let’s see what happens next.

Then, we have today’s session which was decidedly lower on the earnings release.

Considering the A.I. narrative is being ‘challenged‘, leads to the potential for directional movement (not advice, not a recommendation).

Price action oscillated in a 14-point range at earnings release last Thursday, ultimately closing down -2.74%.

Three-Day divergence

The last two trading days for GLW, have posted new daily lows, and closed lower.

On the 3-Day chart at left, tomorrow is ‘Day 3’ for the current price bar.

We have an obvious bearish MACD divergence.

Price action is also in ‘up-thrust’ position (potential reversal) with current price level just above prior resistance (not advice, not a recommendation).

Selling Short, TXN

A Generational Top?

It almost goes without saying, market events are taking place on a massive scale.

Ed Dowd, has said repeatedly in his interviews:

‘When it’s all said and done, I expect Nvidia to be down 80% to 90%’ (not advice not a recommendation).

However, there are others besides Nvidia, with significant downside potential.

Case in point, Texas Instruments.

There’ve been several recent updates on TXN. The most significant one, linked here.

It’s possible, right now, today, is a test of the all-time highs (not advice, not a recommendation).

Intel … After The Open

Set-Up & Go

The set-up in Intel (INTC) is more than just ‘selling the rip’.

We have a repeating pattern with a high expectation.

Meaning, the probabilities of a reversal to the downside with this type of set-up is greater than 50% chance (not advice, not a recommendation).

As of this update (11:10 a.m., EST) INTC has decisively penetrated support and is now hovering at that level.

What’s missing in the way of confirmation is either a reversal bar today, or a new daily low during tomorrow’s session.

With the mega-cap Nvidia almost instantly retracing its opening highs, it may be leading the pack lower.

If that’s the case, the entire sector is at risk of following NVDA to the downside (not advice, not a recommendation).
